Reading Guide and Plot Activities: Tequila Worm Before we proceed with reading Tequila Worm, let's stop and process the text a bit. How has the story changed from the beginning to where we are currently? How has Sofia changed? What central conflicts are emerging? Where do you think the story is heading? After a brief discussion, let's add to our Story Plot Chart ('Tequila Worm').
Next, revisit the 'Preparing the Learner Activities' of 'The Tequila Worm' Reading Guide (Week 2). What can you add to the 'Compare/Contrast' chart about Sofia's experiences? How do they compare to yours?
Finally, work with your teammates to answer questions two and three from the 'Working with the Text' section, which can also be found below.
Guided Reading: Tequila Worm Today we will read the chapter "My Plastic Tia" (pgs. 50-60) of Tequila Worm. As we read, we will stop periodically to discuss the text and, if time permits, work on the guiding questions within our 'The Tequila Worm' Reading Guide (Week 2).
Homework (1.) Read your A.R. book at home for at least 30 minutes and make a Digital Reading Log entry using the 3rd Quarter Reading Log. (2.)
