Flocabulary Vocabulary Activiites and Finishing Your Digital Portolio

The end of the school year is near. Are you finishing strong?

Flocabulary Vocabulary Activities Tomorrow is your weekly vocabulary quiz. Take a moment today to make sure you understand each word. Use your digital flashcards to study, which you can find here, in your Language Arts Google Classroom, as well as below.

dense / deplete / eclipse / eerie / effect / esteem / excel / futile / hazardous / influence / monotonous / prominent / quest / solar / unique

After we watch the vocabulary video "Big Up Yourself" one last time, you and your teammates are going to practice using your new vocabulary words by writing well-written sentences. Nominate one person from your team to open the document Think Creatively ('Big Up Yourself'), have that person make a copy of the doc, and then have them share it, along with editing rights, with the other members of your team. Divide up the sentences and complete the assignment together. Be prepared to share your creative sentences.

Digital Portfolio Finishing Touches Your Digital Portfolio is due tomorrow. It's time to make sure you have met all all project requirements and that your portfolio is as good as it can be. How does your portfolio square up with the rubric below?

It's also time to make sure that your portfolio and all of the documents its contains are able to be viewed by others. I will remind you how to change the viewing and sharing settings of your portfolio and documents. Finally, even if you're not finished, I want you to submit your portfolio to me today, using the form below, so I can begin checking and assessing them.

Homework  (1.) Read your A.R. book at home for at least 30 minutes and, if you choose, make a reading log entry using the Digital Reading Log.
