Nearing the End

The end is near. Let's finish the year strong!

Sacred Reading and Accelerated Reader Time Let's ease into the new week with some quality reading time. Take out your chosen book, get comfortable, and enjoy! If you need to take an AR test, now would also be a great time to earn points towards your reading goal!

100 Word Challenge: Final Assessment Submission  It is time to submit one of your 100 Word Challenge stories to me for the final time from the past quarter to be assessed using our 100 Word Challenge Rubric and included as part of your Language Arts assessment grade. You may choose between the following pieces: 100 Word Challenge: My Ultimate Adventure (Week 27)100 Word Challenge: Picture Challenge (Week 28)100 Word Challenge: X Marks the Spot (Week 29)100 Word Challenge: Five Words (Week 30), or 100 Word Challenge: Picture Challenge (Week 32)

The story you select should represent your very best writing and most closely meet the criteria explained in 100 Word Challenge Rubric below.

Once you decide on the story you want to submit, go to Kidblog and copy the address of your selected story. Next, visit the Google form here and submit it to me. I can't wait to read your stories!

Digital Portfolio Work Session The school year is winding down, and so it our time with access to computers. Use the rest of today to continue to design and build your digital portfolio. Your main focus should be on continuing to add content (digital assignments) and reflecting on your work.

Homework (1.) Read your A.R. book at home for at least 30 minutes and make a Digital Reading Log entry using the 4th Quarter Reading Log, which you can access in your Language Arts folder. (2.) Continue to work on your Digital Portfolio.
