Creating a Digital Portfolio (Reflecting and Writing)
Writing Time: 100 Word Challenge Take some time today to work on this week's 100 Word Challenge and get it ready for publishing tomorrow. Don't forget to use the rubric as a guide.
Creating a Digital Portfolio (Reflecting and Writing) You have already built the foundation of your website, begun to personalize it, and add content. Now it's time to begin the reflection process. The purpose of of a portfolio is to both showcase your assignments and reflect on them. Today you will begin writing about your selected digital assignments.
Make sure to introduce, explain, and reflect on each assignment. Consider these questions: What did the assignment ask you to do? What does the assignment show that you know and know how to do? How did you feel about the final product? Would you do anything differently next time? Explain. I've included a model of how you may want to write about your assignments below.
Homework (1.) Read your A.R. book at home for at least 30 minutes and make a Digital Reading Log entry using the 4th Quarter Reading Log, which you can access in your Language Arts folder. (2.) Continue to work on your Digital Portfolio. (3.) Complete your 100 Word Challenge: Picture Challenge (Week 32) story, which we will be publishing tomorrow, Friday, May 15.
