Happy Monday!


 Today's Learning Objectives  Trace and evaluate the argument and specific claims in text. Determine a central idea of a text and how it is conveyed through particular detailsIdentify textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says.  


Argumentative Writing Performance Assessment: Reading Informational Texts and Writing Constructed Responses Today we begin District's Argumentative Writing Performance Assessment in earnest. You will review the first informational text and finish writing your first constructed response paragraph. You will also begin work on the second.You can still find the document Pets in the Classroom, which includes and assessment materials and spaces to record your responses, in your Language Arts folders. 

Homework Read your A.R. book at home for at least 30 minutes and make a Digital Reading Log entry using the new 4th Quarter Reading Log, which has been placed in your Language Arts folder.
